- 1900 Election Store Display Card With Twelve Original Gold Bug Stickpins. As every student of political history knows, Bryan supporters were often termed "Silver Bugs" and McKinley backers "Gold Bugs." A wide variety of campaign items picked up this theme, including a number of brass shell stickpins, which were either gilded or silvered. This is one of the largest varieties; each bug is fully 1 1/2" long. These store displays are scarce and always great collector favorites. Card itself has minor soiling, basically excellent; the stickpins are predictably near mint. (Heritage Galleries description) (Item 3624)
