- Description:
- Simply the Finest Theodore Roosevelt Sterling Silver Spoon We Have Ever Seen. This is a full tea-spoon size, not the customary "souvenir spoon" or demitasse size. In the bowl is a superb portrait of TR in classic Rough Rider uniform and hat, while a second recognizable TR image graces the handle: he is on horseback, carrying an enameled U.S. flag and at the top a "Rough Riders" streamer. The reverse of the handle has a detailed figure of a kneeling Rough Rider sharpshooter and other detailed decorations, including the "1898" date. In tiny letters, it is marked "sterling" and "pat'd 98." This heavy 5.9" spoon is in choice condition, and is infinitely more beautiful than the other, more familiar TR spoon varieties.
