This poster art commemorates the July, 1993 induction of creators Robert Crumb, Gilbert Shelton, and Howard Cruse to the Underground Comix Hall Of Fame. This piece of production art has a transparent overlay on which the line art was printed. The background is a rendered original piece of airbrush art. Together, you have an image featuring caricatures of the inductees along with some of their recognizable character creations. This was published as a poster used to promote what turned out to be the final induction ceremony of the Underground Comix Hall Of Fame.
